Ponsonby School Fair - Juniors




What did Posonby School advertise they would be having at their School Fair?
Farm Animals, pony rides  - Kirsten
Fun rides, live music - Elisara 
Art and Crafts - Mia
Foody Treats - Ollie
Silent Auction  - Vailo

Mechanical Bull Rides - Leah
How effective was this advertising?
People singing, the scenes flicked quickly, text on the screen, whole school and lots of people, the main singer had personality plus - expression and humour.
I really want to go to the school fair because...
Bull rides, some of my favourite things are there said Elisara, it sounded interesting.
How could you improve this advertising?
 It was great the way it was!

How effective was this advertising?
Yes because they were creative with paper drawings and information.  Groovy music was playing in the background.


I really want to go to the school fair because...
They are going to have Go-Karts and Farm Animals - Anakie and Logan
The mechanical bull was a creative activity as you wouldn't see this at a lot of school fairs - Rebecca Brody

Is it hard being a director?
Sometimes.
How do you know if things are running smoothly?
When people know there lines and practice.
What would you do if someone isn't ready or on time?
 There is someone on both sides of the door so they know when to go on.

How does tickets and advertising make a production successful?

What process are used in Advertising and why are they important?
First we had to look at other designs and come up with our own design to figure out what we wanted. 
Once we designed a draft we looked at what would get the attention of the costumers. 
Did the students  help and what job did they do?
 Yes they did. They helped put the poem together using comic life. They also had the choice of layout (design)
How long did it take and was it hard work?
About a week. If you didn't know how to use comic life I think it would be hard, but it was pretty easy really.

What were the main things that you and the group used to make the tickets and why were they important? 
Computer-Pages. I used Sleeping Beauty website for guidelines-There was rules of how it had to look.
Did the students help and what job did they do? 
Not this time.

Miss Ferris. I had to make sure that I had turned off the mics  so they couldn't
talk  backstage and there was no lights.
