The journey at camp Borland lodge

Calling all people on blogs who are reading this.

Well it all starts  in a journey were we get picked up by bus at New River Primary at the hall well ever one was getting there teams organize and getting there bandanas.

First we head to the Bus and put all our gears in the Bus and we put our self into the Bus to then our journey begins...

We get out all quiz and go through all these mysterious towns and trying to figure out all the answers for the quizzes.

We saw interesting things on our journey and on the way to borland lodge we got to sleep on the most cozy bus ever.

On the way to camp borland lodge we saw a big cave made out of little rocks and big rocks and others we also saw other native trees and bushes they were awesome and amazing.

"YAHH WE ARE HERE SAID EVERY ONE IN THE BUS" so we started to unpacked the  bus and put the stuff in the hall and then when ever ones gear was of the bus and then left borland lodge and went to brunt ridge track and every one was glad then... OHH Mrs O'neil took the wrong track.

So aventaly we got the right track and started to walk and it took about 2 hours  then we made it back to camp Borland lodge and every one started there ativties and put there stuff in there cabins.

Then we  headed to our cabins  and unpacked our  bag we were in 1,2,3 and other were in 4,5,6,7,8 then BOOM we started our activities the activities where low ropes, blindfold trail, this picture thing and camp cooking they were some awesome activities and after the activities the cooks had repaired tea and tea was lazanna it was the hit.

After tea we had a bomb fire and rosted mash mallow we had to do this blind fold track in the dark to lead to the bomb fire on the way we sore glow worms  and other stuff it was amazing when we all sore the glow worms because we all had not see them before YAY we said because we were there now we all sat down on the wood and sang camp fire songs while we were eating them they were delisous  well that's what I thought eny way we sang camp fires burning, she'll be coming around the moutin as she go and then we finished the camp fire and walked back to our cabins and went to sleep.

  1. Hi Room 12

That Lodge sounds like FUN!!! My last camp was at Arthurs Pass but we didn’t take a bus we took our parents CARS!

I prefer cars to buses because they are safer and they have RADIOS :].

  2. What a great recount. My class of year 7/8 students went on camp last term. They had the opportunity to do a lot of the same activities as your. My class really enjoyed the burma trail. They went out late at night with blindfolds on and had to follow a rope that lead through the trees. They had lots of fun and slept really well that night. How often do you go on camp?
