Discovery Time - Dance Around the World - Rugby World Cup

Last Monday at Discovery Time our theme was Dance Around the World - Rugby World Cup.  Because the Rugby World Cup is in New Zealand this year we have themed all our Discovery Time Activities around The Rugby World Cup.  This will help us to understand about the Rugby World Cup, it's participants and countries they come from.

In the Weekend

In the weekend on Saturday my Nana came to watch my rugby game out at standpoint rugby grounds.  It was the day  to beat Marist.  Most of as thought that we could not beat them in the first half of the game because the score was 31 to 10 we had 10 but after a team talk we said we can beat them.  Then in the second half we didn't miss  any of our tackles.

Kapa Haka Ropu Polyfest Practice

The Kapa Haka Ropu have been practicing their items, which they will perform at Polyfest next week.  The audio recording has a lot of sound interference.  When listening to the audio make sure you are close by to your volume button.  Enjoy what you can and Mrs Rolton will investigate the technical side of using Audioboo before sharing more items with you all.

In the Weekend

In the weekend my Dad came over to see Ariana and I because he loves me and I made him a description on space.  I went to see Dad yesterday, Dad has a sore leg I miss my Dad, my Dad is amazing.  I have fun with my Dad, at my Dads house we watch television, play games and we go to the park and we run to the dogs and last but not least we go places to see some amazing things.  What I like to do at my Dads sometimes is go out for tea and go swimming for fun.

In the Weekend

In the Weekend (Saturday), My Uncle and my cousin from Samoa arrived at Dunedin Airport. So we went to Dunedin Airport, It was big. We waited for maybe 3 minutes and then they arrived we were so happy and joyful because we haven't seen them since 2002. My Uncle Feagaiga gave me $3 to play games with my cousin, we played shot gun. Then we brought cookies it was yummy. We made our trip back and my cousin was kind.  Finally we were at home and my Aunty and Grandma were waiting for us to eat lunch because it was 12:11. We ate toast with bacon and egg it was yummy.  We went to the bedroom and talked because we don't really know each other, because when were in Samoa my cousin wasn't born and shes only 7 years old. I felt really whakahirihiri (excited) because they were really kind and I had to share my room with my cousin, all we did was sing songs (church songs). Then on Sunday we got shocking news.  Do you want to know what the SHOCKING news was? Well my cousin got married and we didn't even know because when we rang to talk to my Grandma in Samoa they said that they were busy because of my cousins wedding. That's my Amazing Weekend.
